Women Run The Santa Cruz Mountains at Henry Cowell State Park

Women Run The Santa Cruz Mountains is a new trail running group for women of all running abilities.  It is a great way to get exercise, meet new friends, and stay safe while running through our beautiful parks.  Our first run will be on May 26th at 9am.  We will run between 3 and 6 miles, though you are always welcome to run shorter/longer.  Please RSVP on Facebook or via email. DON'T LET FEELING UNSAFE RUIN YOUR RUNS. RUN THE MOUNTAINS WITH CONFIDENCE!See More

Bike/walking trail to SLV schools at San Lorenzo Valley Elementary School

 to talk about the next steps to building a new path to make it safer to bike or walk from Felton to the SLV Elementary, Middle and High Schools.We'll meet at San Lorenzo Valley Elementary at the picnic tables at 7pm.

Reduce SLV traffic and emissions: Bike Path Meeting Tonight!!!

I hope that a LOT of people from the community, and not just parents, will show up tonight to the Safe Bike/Walking Paths to School meeting. Monday 5/14 7p.m. at SLV Elementary's Multi Use Room. Health-loving, earth-loving neighbors, please join us Friday afternoons in May from 2:30-4:00 (or other days/times at your convenience) at the SLV Middle School Garden. A small group of volunteers is turning an 800 square foot garden into a fruit and veggie production site for the District cafeteria.
